Start with Security gave me different options and benefits of each so I could make a choice. When Scott Dunn installed the system, he was efficient, clean and tidy. The work was to an excellent standard. He had a lot of patience when showing me how to operate the system and was on the end of the phone anytime I needed some guidance. I would highly recommend their services.

Start with Security were called in to install an Intruder Alarm into my property before travelling for an extended period. The whole process was swift and simple, with only a brief visit to view the property necessary, followed by an easy to understand quotation given before installation.
Once a deposit was paid, a date was booked to install, with the whole process taking only two weeks!
Upon their arrival, the team quite quickly set about putting a plan in action to be as clean and efficient as possible, involving me in any decisions that might inconvenience me during the day. The system itself was put in very cleanly with a minimum of mess, and the team cleaned up after themselves very well.
I deferred to Start with Security’s recommendations on their design and choice of equipment and was incredibly glad I did. All of the provided equipment was aesthetically very good but felt very high quality and works very well. The completed system was straightforward to use, with a phone app keeping me informed of anything happening at the property.

As you get older you have to consider security. Our mother in her late eighties now lives alone since our dad died. This makes her extremely vulnerable with fraud becoming an increasing threat. You never know who you are opening the door to. Another change in lifestyle has been COVID. So with this in mind my brother and I had security installed for our mum.
We opted for a video front door Intercom which can be monitored remotely via tablets etc.
If someone rings mums bell we know who it is and we can decide who and when to let in. Along with this, we had a magnet locking system fitted which means even if the door was left unlocked the magnet will hold the door securely. It also has a self-closing mechanism. If mum were to lock herself out all she needs to do is ring the bell and we can let her in.
In addition to this, we had 5 security cameras fitted so we can see 24/7 that mum is safe.
The whole system took 2 days to install professionally.
Once installed and fully operational it has exceeded our expectations.
The was no high-pressure sale and the system fitted was to our specification.
The whole system is easy to operate and we are able to keep mum as safe as possible.

Very happy with the service provided by Start With Smart. I have used Start With Smart at my last two houses to provide WiFi and network access throughout the house and for a multi-room sound system. They bring a deep technical understanding and are friendly and personable to work with. It’s refreshing to see that Start With Smart are very concerned with the quality of their work and follow up afterwards to ensure everything is working as it should and provide an after sales service contract to ensure the system continues to run smoothly. My children were particularly happy to be able to get fast WiFi in their bedrooms when previously that wasn’t possible from a standard BT router.
